Quick Start
- Open MainStreet Clips and confirm the business name, category, tone, logo, and brand colors.
- Tap Import Photos or Clips to choose media you own or have permission to use, or tap Capture to record new project media with the system camera.
- For a no-permission walkthrough, tap Load Demo Project from the empty Media section or from Settings to create sample local media and reviewed copy.
- Select the workflow that best matches the post: before/after, customer result, offer, event, quote, or reasons to book.
- Review the generated hook, caption, hashtags, and call to action. Export is blocked until copy is reviewed.
- Create a draft video, then save it to Photos or share the video and caption text.
Common Topics
- Importing media: The app uses Apple's photo picker so you choose exactly which photos or videos are available to the project.
- Capturing media: Camera and microphone access are requested only when you choose to capture new footage in the app.
- Demo project: The app can create local sample media, branding, and reviewed copy so you can try the export flow without importing personal media.
- Branding: Add or change a logo and brand colors from the Brand Kit section before creating a draft.
- Trimming clips: Imported videos include trim controls so you can choose the part of the clip used in the draft.
- Reviewing copy: Edit the generated text directly in the script panel, then mark the copy as reviewed before export.
- Creating exports: Choose 9:16, 1:1, or 16:9, then create a local draft video from the selected media. Imported video audio is kept when the source clip includes audio.
- Saving to Photos: The app asks for Photos save permission only after you choose to save an exported video.
- Sharing captions: After export, use Share Caption to send the reviewed caption, hashtags, and call to action to another app.
Support Requests
For the fastest help, submit a GitHub issue and include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, what you were trying to do, and what happened. Do not include private customer footage, credentials, or sensitive business information.
Email support is available at FreeRangeLabs@drumnbus.com, but the support issue form is preferred because it keeps troubleshooting organized.
Purchases
Subscriptions are not enabled in the current build. StoreKit purchase and restore support will be added before any paid App Store release.
