Online 2P uses Apple Game Center for sign-in, matchmaking, invitations, turn-based match delivery, and active match resume. Game Center is provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's privacy practices.
For turn-based online matches, the app stores only gameplay state needed for the match, such as board position, move history, turn state, capture counts, crown counts, and Game Center player identifiers used to assign red and gold players. This data is used only for match functionality.
The app stores local preferences on your device, such as selected mode, AI difficulty, and reduced-chaos setting. These preferences remain on your device unless Apple system services or your own backups sync them.
If you file a public GitHub issue, the information you choose to include is visible on GitHub. Do not post private credentials, payment information, or personal contact details in public support issues.
Hamster Checkers is a board game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Online play requires Game Center, which is managed by Apple account and family settings.
