Recording interruptions
CivicVault Camera can protect the in-app stop flow, but iOS can still interrupt recording when the device is explicitly locked, the app is force quit, permissions are revoked, the battery is exhausted, or the operating system terminates the app.
iCloud backup
Backups use the user's private CloudKit database, not iCloud Drive. Recordings will not appear as browseable files in iCloud Drive.
Evidence exports
Authenticated evidence exports are intentionally unencrypted ZIP files so they can be opened by recipients through Messages, AirDrop, email, or other share destinations.
