Basalt is a macOS hybrid synthesizer by Nightjar Audio. For app issues, feedback, feature requests, or accessibility questions, open a support issue in the public tracker.
Contact support
Include your macOS version, Basalt version, host application (when applicable), audio device, sample rate, buffer size, and the preset or action that caused the issue.
Local files
User presets and autosaves are stored locally by the app. Imported audio embedded in a preset remains inside that local preset file unless you export or share it.
Plugin troubleshooting
- Confirm that the AUv3-capable host is running the current installed version of Basalt.
- For audio dropouts, first increase the host buffer size and check the on-screen CPU meter.
- When reporting a host-specific issue, include the plugin format and exact host version.
